Spring Tournament info.
- Players are allow to miss up to 10 days for school activity for a year or 8 days a semester. This includes ALL activities student particpated at KCHS (Choir, Orchestra, Drama etc.)
- Spring Tournaments usually start at 8 am so we need to leave from Klein Collins at an appropriate time so we can get to the site on time
- After coaches meeting, players will spread out to go to their site. Our players will spread out all over the district where the tournament is held
- Once your child finish playing, he/she can catch a ride from other coaches to go back to the main site so I can take them back to Klein Collins at the end of the day. We usually get back between 6 and 7 pm.
- Please pack your player(s) lunch and snacks for the day. Sometimes we will stop to get food on the way home so please give your child some $
- PARENTS CANNOT DRIVE YOUR CHILD TO THE TOURNAMENTS. IF HE/SHE IS LATE TO THE BUS, HE/SHE WILL GO TO CLASS INSTEAD.
- PARENTS CANNOT PICK UP YOUR CHILD FROM THE SITE WITHOUT A PRIOR WRITTEN NOTE AND APPROVAL. PARENTS ARE ONLY ALLOW TO PICK UP THEIR CHILD AND NO OTHER PLAYERS ON THE TEAM.
- If a player cannot attend a tournament, he/she will also sit out the following tournament. These tournament are set up for our players in advance and he/she should play in all tournaments. Of course there are exceptions for certain situation such as sickness, injuries & family emergencies.
- Students are expected to get all work that will be missed in other classes PRIOR TO MISSING A DAY FOR A TOURNAMENT as they are expected to get all work in on time and will have time during the tournament to work on their homework or work missed in class.
